Adding assets into Peek

After logging in, begin by adding your assets to Peek to receive insights on your net worth. Simply click the "+ Add new" button in the top left corner to get started.

There are three different options for adding assets into Peek.

Automatic Connections

  • On your dashboard, click the "+ Add new" button (or use the keyboard shortcut Command+K on Mac).

  • Select "Automatic Connection" from the options.

  • You'll see a list of supported financial institutions. Use the search bar or scroll to find yours.

  • If the institution you're looking for is not immediately on the drop-down, you could click on "Other" at the bottom.

  • Select your institution and follow the prompts to securely connect your account.

  • Peek will fetch your account data, which may take a few moments.

Manual Import

Use this method for assets not available through automatic connection, like individual stocks or private investments.

  • Click the "+ Add new" button on your dashboard.

  • Select "Manual Import" from the options.

  • Choose the type of asset you're adding (e.g., Stock, Real Estate, Cryptocurrency).

  • Fill in the required fields (e.g., ticker symbol, num

    ber of shares, purchase price for stocks).

  • Add any relevant tags to help organize your assets.

  • Click "Save" to add the asset to your portfolio.

Quick Paste

Use this method if you have numerous assets that you have that you want to bulk upload into Peek. This works well if you already have assets that you track in your own spreadsheet for tracking right now that you want to port over in one go.

  • Click the "+ Add new" button on your dashboard.

  • Select "Quick Paste" from the options.

  • Open up the Google Sheet template

  • Make a copy of the Google sheet template for yourself

  • Add in your own data into the Google sheets templated

  • Go to the "Final Output" tab and copy the data there into Peek
