Connecting to DBS/POSB Bank

This is relevant for users connecting to DBS Bank Singapore. This integration does not work for DBS Treasures, and DBS Vickers accounts.

Before connecting, please make sure that you have your DBS mobile app with you. You will need that to perform two factor authentication.

Steps to connect to your DBS/POSB Bank account

1. From Add Asset dialog, choose Automatic Connections and then choose DBS Bank (Experimental).

2. In the login dialog, enter your username and PIN.

3. Once you have clicked Login button, you will receive a notification from your DBS mobile app to authorize the login.

4. Click I have authorized this login after clicking the Authorize button on your DBS mobile app.

5. Peek will start to import data from your DBS account. Once it's successful, the dialog will close and you'll also receive a notification toast.

This integration is experimental and thus, has some known limitations. Peek team is working to get around some of these limitations.

Known Limitations

  • Only USD and SGD accounts are supported for the time being.

  • We do not store your username and PIN. You will be required to enter those again on every sync.

  • Liabilities such as loans and credit cards are not supported yet.

  • DBS Treasures and Vickers uses a different app and thus, they are not supported on Peek at the moment. However, we are always looking for volunteers who could work with us to develop such integrations.

Why isn't Peek using SGFinDex?

We tried. But, one has to wonder why no FinTechs have been listed on their list of supported institutions.
