We’re aware that the API connection to Morgan Stanley through Plaid is currently unavailable in Peek. Our team is actively working with Plaid to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

What Does This Mean for You?

If you have a Morgan Stanley account connected to Peek via Plaid, you may notice:

  • Inability to update or sync your Morgan Stanley account data.

  • Missing or outdated portfolio information.

Why Is This Happening?

The issue is due to a temporary disruption in the connection between Plaid and Morgan Stanley's API. These types of disruptions can happen due to changes on the financial institution's side or updates in Plaid's integration process. Our team is working closely with Plaid to get things back on track as soon as possible.

What Can You Do in the Meantime?

While the connection is being restored, there are still ways to keep track of your portfolio:

  • Manual Entry: You can manually enter updates to your portfolio to ensure you’re seeing the latest information.

  • Reconnect Later: Once the issue is resolved, we will notify you so you can securely reconnect your Morgan Stanley account to Peek.

What We’re Doing

  • Our team is closely monitoring the issue and will provide updates as soon as Plaid restores the connection.

  • We’ll send out an in-app notification as soon as Morgan Stanley accounts can be synced again.
