At Peek, we prioritize your security and offer several options to protect your account from unauthorized access. Enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an additional layer of security to your account by requiring a second verification step beyond your password.

You can choose between SMS 2FA or an Authenticator Application to secure your account.

Here's how to get to the page.

  1. Log in to your Peek account and navigate to the Preferences section.

  2. Go to Security Settings.

  3. Click on Add two-step verification.

Enabling SMS 2FA

Click on SMS code option to enable SMS verification and proceed with the steps mentioned.

Enabling Authentication Application

Click on Authenticator application option to enable SMS verification and proceed with the steps mentioned.

Logging in with 2FA

Once 2FA is enabled:

  • Enter your username and password as usual.

  • When prompted, enter the six-digit code sent via SMS or generated by your authenticator app.

    • If you are using SMS, it may take up to 10 seconds to receive the verification code; depending on where you are.
